Forklift operator/Material Handler/Warehouse Person

Clean Harbors is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Material Handler/ Truck to Truck Technician at our Tucker, GA facility responsible for the movement and placement of waste from Clean Harbors’ facilities and direct generators.

Pay: $20 hour - 50-60 hours a week with overtime

Hours: Day Shift - You can take the bus as long as you are there everyday.

QUALIFICATIONS

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Forklift experience
  • Shipping and receiving experience a plus!
  • 1 plus years work related warehouse or plant experience
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Good organizational and communications skills
  • Basic computer experience
  • Basic knowledge MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner
  • Day-to-day planning, transfer coordination and execution of proper paperwork for Truck-to-Truck drum management
  • Monitors and ensures all key deadlines are met and proper follow-up is implemented to ensure proper drum transfer compliance requirements; ten (10) day compliance periods
  • Communication to proper management on issues related to compliance, DOT and other issues that could impact the business and compliance
