Position Summary

The Senior Director of Test Engineering for the DCE group will lead a global team responsible for developing and scaling test engineering capabilities across the product lifecycle. This leader will drive innovation in test methodologies, ensure alignment with DCE goals, and represent a unified DCE perspective across cross-functional and corporate teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow a high-performing test engineering organization supporting DCE’s power and energy product portfolio.
  • Define and execute the test engineering strategy, ensuring scalability, cost-efficiency, and quality across global sites.
  • Collaborate with design, product, and operations teams to deliver robust solutions.
  • Champion test process innovation, including data analytics, yield improvement, and test time reduction.
  • Represent DCE’s test engineering priorities in corporate forums, balancing upward influence with team advocacy .
  • Drive alignment across ADI’s global test operations, ensuring consistency in tools, methodologies, and metrics
  • Mentor and develop technical and managerial talent within the test engineering function.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of leading geographically distributed teams and managing complex product portfolios.
  • Deep understanding of test hardware/software, back-end development, and/or test cost optimization.
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence across organizational levels and functions.
  • Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $206,250 to $309,375.

  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
