Job Responsibilities :
The QA Tester Lead will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of mobile game titles launched under Razer Gold’s publishing pipeline. This role will oversee test planning and execution across pre-launch, soft launch, and live operations phases. The QA Lead will manage regional QA resources, coordinate with country teams, and liaise with development and publishing stakeholders to uphold game quality across all supported markets.
This role requires strong technical QA expertise, experience in mobile game publishing cycles, and leadership in coordinating external QA vendors and regional testing teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end QA process for mobile game launches, including test planning, execution, and reporting across pre-launch and live ops phases.
- Design and maintain test cases for functionality, performance, compatibility, localization, and compliance.
- Set up and manage a structured bug tracking and regression testing workflow across multiple game titles.
- Coordinate with regional and country QA testers to ensure localized testing coverage and market-relevant issue identification.
- Work closely with development, product, CS, and publishing teams to reproduce, communicate, and resolve issues effectively.
- Manage external QA vendors (L1 testing partners) and ensure test coverage, quality standards, and turnaround times are met.
- Establish and maintain QA documentation, test reports, and defect logs; provide release readiness assessments.
- Continuously improve QA process efficiency and recommend automation or tool improvements where applicable.
- Support live operations with hotfix, patch validation, and real-time testing during key game events and updates.
- Ensure adherence to platform certification (Google Play, App Store) and internal release standards.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in mobile game QA, with at least 1–2 years in a lead or senior QA role.
- Strong understanding of mobile game development cycles, publishing workflows, and live ops QA needs.
- Hands-on experience with QA tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Charles Proxy, Unity Profiler) and mobile device testing.
- Proven ability to lead QA efforts across distributed and regional teams.
- Experience working with external QA vendors and managing outsourced testing deliverables.
- Familiarity with bug lifecycle management, defect prioritization, and release gating processes.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and a passion for delivering polished, high-quality player experiences.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally under tight timelines.
- Experience in performance testing, compliance testing, or automation frameworks is a plus.
- This role is based in Singapore.
