As part of Manulife Philippines, Technology team, we are looking for a Front-end Software Engineer who will be responsible for supporting, developing and enhancing our Salesforce applications.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce customizations, including custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and Apex triggers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Support the integration of Salesforce with other internal and external systems.
  • Assist in the maintenance and optimization of existing Salesforce applications and solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing timely and effective support to end-users.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of technical documentation and user guides.
  • Stay updated with Salesforce releases and new features, evaluating their potential impact and opportunities for our organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • More than 5 years of experience in Salesforce applications development
  • Familiarity with Salesforce development tools, such as Salesforce DX, Visual Studio Code, and the Salesforce CLI.
  • Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components is a plus.
  • Experience with data modeling, SQL, and integration tools (e.g., REST, SOAP) is desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I certification or willingness to obtain certification within the first six months.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
