Day Shift

Summary: The RN shall be responsible for the general supervision and coordination of activities of nursing personnel on days, evening, nights, weekends, and holidays. This individual will ensure quality and continuity of patient care. Additionally, the RN will accept and support the philosophy, purpose, and objectives of Baptist Health and the Department of Nursing. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role. Education / Experience:Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred. License / Certification: Active RN license required, BLS required, Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc) may be required depending upon area assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to observe, assesses, and record work, safety and infection control standards.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns.
