Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Key Account Manager based at Perth Airport. As a senior member of the Environment, Health & Safety team, you will play a key role in:
- Ensuring SGS meets its contractual obligations under the Sampling and Analysis contract
- Assisting in the management of field activities
- Developing new or enhanced service offerings to support business growth
- Building and strengthening client relationships
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Work closely with clients to scope out sampling/projects requirements, including sampling method, logistics, equipment requirements, inductions and training.
- Prepare Job Safety Analysis’ (JSA’s) and Risk Assessments.
- Liaise with field teams to make sure they have all required inductions, training, job details and equipment on site to ensure the job is completed in accordance with the proposal and the client’s expectations.
- Liaise with clients with on site trouble shooting matters
- Develop and maintain a safety management plan for the scope of work
- Assist with creating field sampling schedule and changes as needed.
- Conduct regular site visits and audits.
- Prepare quotes as requested
- Timely reporting of data in line with contract scope and provision of technical feedback to requesters and contract owner
- Ensure invoices are issued promptly and correctly
- Participate in training and development programs.
- Participate in operational meetings/forums as required.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Science
- Possesses an interest in working in a environmental sampling and laboratories
- A history in customer service or similar stakeholder management (desirable)
- Self-starter with a high degree of initiative
