Zoom are seeking a talented VoIP DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team in delivering seamless and innovative communication solutions.

About the Team

With eight specialized departments, each departments mission is to deliver a seamless and innovative communication solution. These range from software development and machine learning to quality assurance teams that work to create and maintain Zoom's user-friendly interfaces and robust infrastructure. The team continues to push the boundaries of communication technology, bringing people together regardless of their physical distance

As a VoIP DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for administering VoIP infrastructure, implementing CI/CD processes, and ensuring high availability of our communication systems. You'll work in a collaborative environment with diverse teams to maintain and optimize our VoIP services.

What we’re looking for

• Administer and maintain VoIP tools and infrastructure
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for service deployment
• Troubleshoot production issues, including performance and functionality concerns
• Collaborate with vendors and engineering teams to ensure service availability and security
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide system support
• Monitor and optimize system performance using various DevOps tools.

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of hands-on experience in production systems
• Strong understanding of SIP, RTP, and RTCP protocols
• Proficiency in Linux systems and shell scripting
• Experience with CI/CD tools, Kubernetes, and container technologies
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
• Programming skills in Python, Go, or equivalent languages
• Experience with Redis or MySQL databases
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, ArgoCD)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Knowledge of network troubleshooting and diagnostics
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience with automation and infrastructure as code
