The RFS Team is hiring a Test Engineer to design, develop, and implement cost effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment for all phases of product development and manufacturing. Prepares test and diagnostic program, designs test fixtures, and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products. Plans the labor, schedules and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.

The key responsibilities of a Test Development Engineer are as follows:

  • Develops test hardware and software for platform and breakthrough products
  • Performs blocks or shared development in collaboration with product line counterparts
  • Resolve highly complex technical issues on RF products
  • Drives solutions ensuring product manufacturability
  • Proactively involved in the Design for Test inputs for new products

Key Qualifications

  • Knowledgeable in using simulation tools for early development
  • Total understanding of test systems, hardware and software development
  • Ability to develop and/or improve existing test methodologies

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Electronics Engineering or related fields
  • Typically requires a minimum of 4 years of related and progressive experience

Additional Requirements

  • Masters degree in Electronics or any related field of study
  • Ability to write and present technical papers
  • Developed project management skills
  • Builds accountability through leadership and coaching
  • Provides feedback and development for team members
