Immediate Hiring For Machine Operator

Job Description

We are in search of a dedicated and mechanically inclined Machine Operator to join our growing team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire production line - from operating bottle machines to packaging finished products. You'll play a key role in ensuring quality, efficiency, and teamwork on the floor.

Responsibilities

  • Operate computer-controlled bottle molding machines and monitor production output.
  • Stack finished products and pull samples for quality inspection.
  • Record production data and document any issues or downtime during your shift.
  • Ensure products are produced and packaged in the correct quantity and according to specifications.

Work Environment

This is a fully on-site position in Iowa City, Iowa. Our company specializes in manufacturing bottles and caps for various products. Adherence to GMP guidelines is required. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, long pants, jeans or khakis, and a t-shirt. We provide ear plugs, hair nets, and other necessary items. The shifts are 12-hour switch shifts, with a pattern of 2 on 2 off, 3 on 3 off. Shift times are A/C and B/D: 6:00pm-6:30am. A 30-day probationary period includes training from 6 AM to 6 PM following the same shift pattern.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Iowa City, Iowa.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
