As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts. You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).
About this work area
As Product Quality & Recovery Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Engaging and assist customers in understanding their needs and providing your knowledge on IKEA products and services to support their purchasing decisions.
Present IKEA products in As-Is using a strong commercial expression, selling these products with pride and setting relevant prices that are attractive to customers yet still generate the best results for the store.
Take necessary action on products to give them a second chance, such as repackaging them back into a saleable condition.
Assembling our products according to proper building and enclosed instructions to ensure complete functionality.
Support the quality work in the store to constantly improve customers' quality perception of IKEA products.
Always consider the sustainability impact when deciding when and how to recover products.
Building strong relationships with your team and other departments to promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment that cultivates a strong understanding of product recovery, quality and compliance processes.
Maintaining a safe and secure environment within the IKEA store, always ensuring the well-being of both customers and co-workers.
As Product Quality & Recovery Co-worker you are, or you have

A passion for building furniture, our products, and our sustainability initiatives.
Experience with regular use of computers and IT systems.
Strong customer focus, ensuring we keep the customer in mind no matter what we do.
Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment and ability and be able to think outside of the box.
A safety mindset and being comfortable with physical work and manual handling including repetitive heavy lifting.
Motivated, results-driven mindset that does not shy away from challenges.
Comfortable with the physicality associated with this role, similar to a warehouse co-worker.
