As a Software Engineer II on the Microsoft Copilot team, you’ll contribute to the development of intelligent features that enhance productivity and creativity across Office applications.

  • Design & Development:
    • Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable software solutions.
    • Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
  • Cloud Systems:
    • Assist in building and optimizing cloud-native applications using platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Innovation:
    • Stay informed about emerging technologies, especially in AI and GenAI, and explore their application in product development.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with product managers, senior engineers, and data scientists to deliver high-quality features.
    • Communicate technical ideas clearly within the team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and modern development practices.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to Large Language Models (LLMs) or Generative AI technologies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and agile development methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a growth mindset.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
