Job Description

Infosys is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior UI Developer with expertise in ReactJS to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable, high-performance backend systems using modern Java frameworks. Candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining that power mission-critical applications. Lead the development and implementation of high-quality ReactJS applications. Work with UX designers to help convert the UX design to UI development design. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Detroit, MI or be willing to relocate to the area OR any location from EST time zone
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of related work experience.
• All applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply.
• Proven hands-on experience as a ReactJS developer.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Knowledge of server-side rendering and Next.js.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha. Understanding of Agile methodologies.
• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
• Strong understanding of front-end development principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and leadership skills. Interaction with technical and biz client stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative offshore team environment

The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
