Description and Requirements
Scope of Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive Software Test Plans and strategies, ensuring optimal test coverage while balancing efficiency and cost.
- Continuously improve and evolve testing frameworks, processes, and tools to drive higher product quality and proactively address quality gaps through root cause analysis and lessons learned.
- Oversee the analysis, documentation, and tracking of complex software defects. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize, reproduce, and validate fixes, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Mentor and guide QA engineers, promoting best practices in testing and quality assurance throughout the development lifecycle.
- Act as a key stakeholder in release planning, risk assessment, and quality gate reviews.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical fields.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a QA leadership or senior role.
- Expert-level understanding of the software testing lifecycle, advanced testing techniques, test automation frameworks, and test management tools.
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language for test automation and tooling.
- Proven track record of driving quality improvements across multiple projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to influence stakeholders and clearly articulate quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline focused on quality practices.
- Strong experience with Android platform and mobile device testing, including automation on real devices and emulators.
- Hands-on experience leading QA efforts in Agile software development environments.
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines with integrated test automation.
