We’re seeking an experienced and dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to fostering Volvo standards, culture, and leadership. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of employee and management training, ensuring that all mandatory and optional training is successfully completed across the organization. You will also design, deliver and facilitate training programs, promote core company values, and develop our team members’ skills across various levels. This role will be instrumental in strategically driving employee empowerment and development by overseeing training initiatives, improving administrative processes, and working closely with key stakeholders to achieve common organizational goals. In this role, you will have the opportunity to expand your expertise as well as take part in several projects connected to learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Management:

  • Administer the Learning Management System (LMS), including managing content, user access, and ensuring accurate records of training activities;
  • Oversee and manage the full cycle of training, ensuring all relevant employees participate in mandatory and optional training;
  • Collaborate with department heads, managers, employees, and other stakeholders to identify training needs, ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements and timely completion, and provide support on navigating the learning system and troubleshooting any issues;
  • Steer the process from initial planning to final reporting, ensuring that all training programs align with business objectives;
  • Monitor and track training completion across all relevant employee groups;
  • Prepare detailed reports for management on training progress, completion rates, and outcomes;
  • Continuously review and improve training administration processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness;
  • Implement best practices in training delivery and tracking to enhance the user experience and organizational impact.

Internal Training:

  • Design and facilitate interactive trainings such as onboarding sessions and sessions on company culture, inclusion practices, ethical leadership and integrity & other leadership programs tailored to increase efficiency in diverse groups within our organization;
  • Act as a role model and advocate for the company’s core values, promoting inclusive behavior, mutual respect, and ethical decision-making in all training initiatives;
  • Continuously assess training impact through feedback and performance metrics, refining content and delivery methods to enhance learning outcomes and engagement.

What you'll bring

  • Training & Facilitation Expertise: Skilled in rhetoric and pedagogy, with experience leading and facilitating engaging training sessions for diverse audiences;
  • Time Management & Prioritization: Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks, ensuring all training programs are completed within established deadlines;
  • Relationship Management: Demonstrated ability to build and sustain positive, trusting connections by consistently understanding, anticipating, and meeting the needs of clients or stakeholders;
  • Organizational Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple training projects simultaneously with an organized workflow, guaranteeing comprehensive coverage of all training needs;
  • Creative & Growth-Oriented: A forward-thinking, innovative, and enthusiastic approach, with a growth mindset focused on continuously improving training delivery;
  • Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership skills, capable of inspiring and motivating others while exemplifying the company’s core values;
  • Reporting & Technical Proficiency: Competent in reporting, with hands-on experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) to track and enhance training outcomes;
  • Language Proficiency: Advanced English and Slovak language proficiency (B2);
  • Several years of past work experience in a similar role in a global organization is mandatory, preferably private sector & manufacturing industry;
  • Social, academic, and professional settings, with a strong grasp of complex and nuanced expressions desired;
  • Preferred university education: Human Resources, Pedagogy, Psychology, Business Administration, or equivalent.

Compensation Data

Base Monthly Salary (Gross) for this position starts from 1.850 EUR.

  • The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job. Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate.
