As a Systems Development Engineer in the AWS Direct Connect capacity engineering team, you will work hand-in-hand with Software Development and Network Engineering teams to develop solution architectures, while also helping to automate and invent new ways of operating the Direct Connect network. You’ll apply your large-scale understanding of computing solutions to write code and manage services that delight our customers. You will practice frugality through economic decision making.

These connections help to reduce network costs, increase bandwidth throughput, and provide a more consistent network experience than Internet-based connections. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $116,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
