Customer Service Representative/ Shipping and Receiving Clerk- Weekly Pay!

Job Description

As a Customer Service and Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will play a crucial role in directing traffic through the vehicle scanning lane, assisting customers with a positive attitude, and ensuring that their return process is smooth and efficient. You will be responsible for using an iPad to review and acknowledge vehicle condition reports, while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic through the scanning lane to keep the process moving smoothly.
• Ensure each vehicle is properly scanned using an iPad.
• Greet and confidently approach customers as they return their vehicles.
• Help customers review and acknowledge the digital condition report on an iPad.
• Address customer concerns or questions, and work closely with agents to resolve any issues.
• Show customers any identified vehicle damage upon request.
• Report any system issues or incidents to the designated Team lead or supervisor.
• Compare the condition report to the actual vehicle condition and document any discrepancies.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
• Friendly, energetic demeanor with strong communication skills and a willingness to approach customers confidently.
• Ability to stand for long periods, direct traffic, and perform vehicle inspections, including bending and lifting.
• Must maintain a professional appearance at all times.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in data entry, logistics, retail, and shipping and receiving.
• Bilingual abilities and customer service call center experience are a plus.

Work Environment

This role is based at AUS Airport and involves standing and working outdoors in a covered area for extended periods. Flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, may be required to ensure smooth operations across shifts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Austin, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
