Job Title: Assembler- Weekly Pay of $16/hr - 1st Shift Available

Job Description

Join our team as an Assembler, where you will utilize your skills in assembly and installation to ensure quality production. We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 1 year of assembly experience, who are eager to contribute to a dynamic and growing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install parts using hand tools, air tools, and power tools according to work instructions and specifications.
• Fit, wire, or connect components using equipment according to work instructions and specifications.
• Attend to equipment and ensure proper operation while participating in the maintenance of production equipment and facilities.
• Perform routine inspections on products, processes, and materials to assure work output meets specifications.
• Identify and correct potentially unsafe situations or conditions, or notify the Production Group Lead about unsafe or emergency situations and recommend corrective measures.
• Collaborate with team members at the assigned workbench to assemble different product variations each day.

Essential Skills

• 1+ year of assembly experience.
• Experience with hand tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Ability to assemble with a blueprint or following work instructions.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, speak, and write English.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to distinguish basic colors and shades of color.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, sit, bend, twist/turn, kneel, squat, crawl, reach outward or above the shoulder, lift, carry, push, or pull 15-45 pounds, and repetitive use of hands and fingers.
• Depth perception required.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled industrial environment with approximately 10 workstations, collaborating in a line with 3-4 others in a medium-sized warehouse. The work setting is fully enclosed except for two open shipping receiving doors on the far side of the warehouse floor. Embrace a beautiful work environment, standing 100% of the time. Dress code includes a plain black t-shirt provided after the first few weeks, jeans (blue, khaki, or black), and tennis shoes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.50/hr.
