Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant, QA Automation Tester

In this role, you will be responsible for coding, testing and delivering high quality deliverables, and should be willing to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading and mentoring a team of QA engineers, ensuring coverage per client's requirements.
• Develop, maintaln, and enhance automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or similar
• Develop and Implement comprehensive test strategles, plans, and test cases Implement process improvements to enhance manual and automation test coverage.
• Design and manage test runs, test suites, cases, results, and defect Collaborate with IT teams, Product Owners, and developers to prioritize and report on quality issues.
• Communicate test progress, results, and other pertinent information to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and provide clear testing metrics to key stakeholders. Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and requirement reviews to ensure testablity. Perform regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.

Minimum Qualifications

• BE/B Tech/MCA
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Proven experience in Quality Assurance Leadership, in a mid-level role,
• Proficiency in one or more languages: Java
• Proficiency in Selenium Karet/ Rest Assured, Playwright, Browser Stack
• Strong background in test planning, strategy, and execution & designing QA frameworks; understanding of industry standards and ability to provide clear testing metrics.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, TDD/BDD, CI/CD methodologies, cloud platform (Good to have) . iOs & Android/Device testing / automation experience
• Hands-on experience with manual testing, automated testing, regression testing, APl testing & performance testing (Good to have)
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication abilities
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience working with US clients (onsite/offshore mode)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Financial domain knowledge is an added advantage (good to have)
