Senior Software Development Engineer
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Solutions Test Engineer to join the Platform Engineering team. As a Quality Test Engineer, you will have the opportunity to deliver testing solutions for complex applications/projects, contribute to the cloud services testing, identify quality assurance processes, and participate in root-cause analysis.
About the Role
In this opportunity as a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX designers, and other developers, to define and implement software solutions that meet business requirements.
- Develop and maintain scalable front-end applications using modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Design and implement robust backend services using languages such as Java, NodeJS, or Python.
- Manage and deploy cloud applications using AWS services, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Work with both NoSQL and relational databases to design, develop, and optimize data storage solutions.
- Develop and maintain APIs using REST and/or GraphQL to facilitate seamless integration with front-end applications.
- Ensure the quality of software deliverables by implementing automated testing procedures.
- Participate in Agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies to continuously improve development practices.
About You
You’re a fit for the role of Senior Software Development Engineer, if your background includes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience in full stack software development.
- Strong proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Extensive experience with backend technologies such as Java, NodeJS, or Python.
- Proven experience managing and deploying applications on AWS, with a solid understanding of services like EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
- Proficiency in working with both NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB) and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Understanding of authentication/authorization protocols such as OAuth.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to innovate and think creatively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Passion for delivering high-quality software that meets user needs.
