What You Will Be Doing at WorldFirst

  • Collaborate with local/international Product & wider business teams (e.g. Legal, Compliance, Customer Service, Onboarding etc) to define, refine and implement any process improvement that delivers for customers and achieves local business goals.
  • Leverage deep customer insight with regional commercial team to understand and define client pains and implement cross functional projects to mitigate them through our product offering.
  • Execute recommendations by gathering business requirements which represent clients ask at large for tech builds, owning business requirements, process mapping, customer insight and project management.
  • Gain competitors' insight on their product advantages and system capabilities, gap analysis.
  • Set product target including PSAT rating, number of complaints, product penetration rate, automation rate, etc.
  • Draft PRD and coordinate with engineers on building a seamless, intuitive product for your target market.
  • Responsible for making decisions on how the account-based product expands next with missing functionalities required by the clients. Identify problems and solutions for customers and priorities.
  • Perform analysis and operational duties to drive effectiveness across the UAE business. Support in insight & analysis, preparation of materials for senior management (country manager), facilitation of key management meetings and project management.
  • Define, lead and oversee strategic initiatives to drive growth in the UAE business, whilst retaining alignment with the company's global vision and objectives.
  • Drive revenue growth in the UAE market, drive adoption and refinement of existing products whilst defining, launching and scaling new products.
  • Support customer growth - formulating and implementing growth strategies based on deep customer and market insights
  • Act as a key point of contact for a wide set of stakeholders, quickly building strong relationships and ensuring clear communication.
  • Be the right-hand-person for your reporting manager who will be CEO of WorldFirst Middle East region.

What We Are Looking for at WorldFirst for this role:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels and a relentless commitment to quality and rigour.
  • Experience relating to supporting businesses customers in the UAE & Middle East market from a payments/financial services perspective
  • Domain knowledge and experience across Marketplaces-Ecommerce, FX, Lending, and associated pricing models is desirable.
  • Ability to work across organizational boundaries, dealing with ambiguity and setting up internal networks to break down barriers and improve cross functional collaboration.
  • Ability to handle and manage a fast-paced schedule, high volume of work, produce associated deliverables within short deadlines and work within a complex governance structure.
  • Ability to independently drive market & client research and drive the end-to-end development of business requirement documents.
  • Ability to design complete product flow, product requirement documents, coordinate with developers, designers, QA and other internal teams.
  • Follow up the progress of project implementation.
  • Analytical and technical acumen along with business sense that guides ROI based prioritisation.
  • Readiness to provide insight and deliver measurable results for sophisticated products under ambiguous situations in a fast-paced environment.

Important Note: Since WorldFirst Tech & Product teams are based in China, it will be preferred by us if the candidate speaks fluent Chinese, although based in UAE with above credentials.
