Job Summary: Delivery Driver CDL

We are currently seeking a CDL Class A Driver for a company in Ft Myers, operating a 26-foot flatbed truck. The driver will be responsible for the safe transport and delivery of underground utility products, including large pipes and related materials to job sites and client locations. This is a hands-on role requiring securement of loads and occasional assistance with unloading if needed.

This is for a company in the Ft Myers and deliveries will be made in Lee, Charlotte & Coller Counties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a CDL Class A flatbed truck (26 ft.)
• Safely haul and deliver underground utility materials such as PVC pipe, HDPE, conduit, and related products
• Secure loads properly using straps, chains, or binders to ensure DOT compliance
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures
• Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery schedules, issues, or delays
• Assist with loading/unloading as needed (may include use of forklift or crane, if certified)
• Maintain accurate delivery and load documentation

Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class A License
• 1+ year of flatbed driving experience required
• Must be able to register with Clearinghouse
• Ability to safely secure loads using proper equipment
• Clean driving record and current DOT Medical Card
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in outdoor environments
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail

Position Type: Full Time Temp to Perm

Pay: $25.00

Schedule: 7am-5pm
