Processing Technician
Pay Range: $19 / hour
Schedule: 5:00 am to 1:30 pm M-F
Location: Fullerton, CA
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for operation of special processes including dry blast, Acid Pickling, Descaling, Vibratory deburring, Stripping, Conversion Coatings, Dry Film Lubes, degreasing, Line Maintenance, and Chemical Additions.
- Following important safety procedures
- Interprets process specifications, procedures, work orders, and verbal instructions of processing activities to ensure compliance with drawing and specification requirements.
- Monitoring and adjusting machine parameters, testing batch quality, and reporting equipment malfunctions.
- Reporting manufacturing faults or hazards to colleagues Track operational responsibilities
Requirements, Skills, Experience & Education
- Strong communication skills – able to articulate status, opportunity and actions required to move product successfully.
- Strong organizational skills – how to arrange things and quickly notice when things are incorrect.
- Attention to Detail
- High School Diploma
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
- Able to work overtime as required
