Material Handler - Forklift
$17.00/hour
6 pm - 2:30 am + OT
A leading manufacturer of automotive parts, is seeking a reliable Material Handler to join the team at their manufacturing facility in Springfield OH. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual with experience in material handling, shipping/receiving, and inventory management.
Material Handler Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and accurately stock incoming raw materials and supplies
- Pull and stage materials for production lines based on schedules
- Operate forklift, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks ensuring proper packing and documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all safety protocols and wear PPE (personal protective equipment)
Material Handler Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in material handling, warehousing, or manufacturing
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management
- Great attention to detail and organized
- Team player with strong work ethic
- Dependable and punctual
