Position: Full Stack Node Software Engineer

Location: Denver, CO or Colorado Springs, CO

Salary: $100,000 - $130,000/Annually | $48.00/HR - $62.00/HR

Schedule: Hybrid 1 or 2 days a month in office. WFH the rest of the time

About the Position: Specialized Recruiting Group is partnering with a respected Colorado Springs-based company to hire a Full-Stack Node Software Engineer. This full-time, remote position offers the opportunity to work on core product development as part of a small, collaborative team of three engineers. While the role is primarily remote, candidates must reside in Colorado and be available to attend monthly on-site meetings at the company’s Colorado Springs office.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining a cloud-based web application used across global teams. You’ll work on full lifecycle development, from prototyping to deployment, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Design and develop scalable full-stack web applications using Node and related technologies
  • Contribute to all stages of development, including planning, architecture, coding, testing, and deployment
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business teams to define and implement new features and enhancements
  • Participate in sprint planning and help estimate timelines and resource needs for upcoming projects
  • Perform code reviews and offer constructive feedback to ensure high-quality software
  • Conduct functional and integration testing of applications and connected devices
  • Troubleshoot, document, and resolve software issues alongside QA and support teams
  • Research and evaluate emerging tools and technologies for future implementation
  • Own tasks from concept through completion with minimal oversight in a fast-paced development environment

Qualifications:

  • BS CS, EE, CIS or related engineering degree
  • 5+ years of full stack JavaScript; Node, Typescript, Express, JavaScript, RXJS, Angular, AWS, MongoDB
  • DevOps workflow; CI/CD, GitHub, Heroku, Bitbucket, Jira, etc.
  • Knowledge of web services, API, REST, and Database fundamentals

Strongly Preferred Experience:

  • Angular and RXJS
  • MongoDB
  • Docker and Nginx

Additional Skills:

  • Knowledge and experience with networking and Internet Protocols
  • Knowledge of AI and LLM’s
