Job description
- Operate molding presses and related equipment to produce plastic stock shapes (rods, sheets, tubes) according to specifications
- Monitor process parameters and make machine adjustments to ensure consistent product quality
- Inspect molded parts visually and with measuring tools to ensure they meet quality standards
- Prepare molds and materials for production runs, including cleaning and applying release agents
- Record production data, downtime, and material usage in the manufacturing system
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with industrial machinery
- Ability to read and interpret production work orders, safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Hours: Monday thru Friday / 8:00am to 4:30pm
Pay Rate: $20 an hour
