What you’ll be doing...

A Channel Manager is responsible for developing and optimizing Verizon Wireless sales through registered Business Agents, focusing on building and maintaining relationships with partners to drive revenue and market share across Business Markets and Global Enterprise Segments.

  • Channel Strategy & Development:
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve channel performance and achieve sales goals.
    • Identify and recruit new channel partners, ensuring they align with Verizon’s goals.
    • Negotiate and manage contracts and agreements with channel partners.
    • Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth within existing and new channels.
  • Partner Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners.
    • Provide ongoing support, training, and resources to partners.
    • Ensure partners are equipped with the necessary tools and information to effectively sell Verizon products or services.
    • Address partner issues and concerns promptly.
  • Performance Management & Optimization:
    • Monitor channel performance and identify areas for improvement.
    • Develop and implement strategies to address performance gaps.
    • Track progress towards sales goals and adjust strategies as needed.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, product development) to align channel strategies with overall business goals.
  • Sales & Marketing Support:
    • Assist channel partners with sales efforts, including lead generation, presentations, and closing deals.
    • Work with marketing teams to develop joint marketing campaigns and initiatives.
    • Stay informed about competitor activities and market trends.
  • Communication & Coordination:
    • Act as a point of contact for channel partners, providing timely and accurate information.
    • Facilitate communication between the company and its channel partners.
    • Coordinate with other internal teams to ensure smooth operations and alignment.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Prior business sales experience.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Experience with consultative selling and territory management.
  • Knowledge of competitive differentiation and technology expertise.
  • Sales leadership experience.

Where you’ll be working

In this mobile role, you'll primarily work from customer or field location(s), with occasional visits to a Verizon location for in-person training and meetings.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is a commission based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.

The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $75,500.00 - $131,000.00.
