Construction Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a Construction Project Manager with a strong experience in architecture, engineering, or construction management. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience, specifically in the pharmaceutical industry. This role requires expertise in preconstruction, scheduling, budgeting, buyouts, and working with subcontractors. A passion for learning and an open-minded approach are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors to define project scope and work specifications.
  • Utilize software such as Procore and ACC to track and manage project progress.
  • Coordinate preconstruction activities, including procurement and budgeting.
  • Conduct cost analysis and change order management.
  • Lead project coordination, site development, and pricing strategies.
  • Implement effective bidding processes and handle requests for information (RFIs).

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management, or equivalent.
  • 5-10 years of experience in construction management, specifically in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proficiency in project management and construction estimation.
  • Experience with commercial and life science construction.
  • Strong ability to manage subcontractors and oversee construction supervision.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing large teams.
  • Intermediate understanding of core engineering disciplines and project execution.
  • Minimum of 8 hours of leadership/supervisory training annually.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $150000.00/hr.
