Job Title: Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to manage building automation projects, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and adherence to contractual requirements. The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and project management expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage projects following established project processes, providing direction to assisting Project Engineers.
  • Complete projects within budget, on time, and with a high level of customer satisfaction, adhering to contractual requirements.
  • Oversee the financial performance of assigned projects, including planning, billing, revenue forecasting, accounts receivable collections, and re-estimating installation costs.
  • Manage delivery of contracted scope and secure change orders for scope expansion.
  • Coordinate project materials and shared resources, identifying resource constraints and developing corrective action plans.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with sub-contractors, identifying issues and implementing corrective actions.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HVAC or Building Automation Controls.
  • PMP Certification.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Strong problem-solving, planning, and project management skills.
  • Working knowledge of project financial reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple challenges simultaneously.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in electrical/electronics, project coordination, and project scheduling.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Experience in building automation systems.

Work Environment

This position covers the NJ territory. Reporting to Clifton daily is not mandatory; candidates may go directly to job sites from their homes. Consultants will use their vehicle to get to the job sites, transitioning to full-time employees will offer a company car, EZ pass, and company credit card. Typical working hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with no on-call shifts required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $60.00/hr.
