We are seeking a Senior DSP Firmware Engineer to join our Platform Delivery team. This role will contribute to the development of advanced firmware for our next-generation Cochlear Implant and Acoustic sound processors, implants, and related devices, with a strong focus on digital signal processing and algorithm development.

As a Senior DSP Firmware Engineer, you'll work hands-on to develop robust, scalable firmware solutions in C/Assembly and Matlab/Simulink. You’ll provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and help shape the DSP architecture for cutting-edge hearing devices that improve quality of life for millions globally.

Key Responsibilities

1.DSP Algorithm & Firmware Development

• Design, implement, and test embedded DSP algorithms in C, Assembly, and Matlab/Simulink.
• Develop test frameworks using Python, C#, and related tools.
• Ensure firmware documentation and compliance with medical device standards.

2.Project Management

• Break down features into agile deliverables and drive timely execution.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and resolve technical challenges.

3.Technical Leadership

• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices.
• Improve tools, processes, and DSP architecture.
• Support IP creation and explore new signal processing innovations.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years in audio, speech, or signal processing algorithm design.
• Strong skills in embedded C, C++, and Assembly for DSP/microcontroller targets.
• Experience in algorithmic modeling and behavioral DSP design (e.g., Matlab/Simulink).
• Proficiency in Python scripting and modern development practices (e.g., MISRA C, SOLID).
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with C#, firmware architecture, and fixed-point DSPs.
• Agile development experience and familiarity with medical device or safety-critical environments.
• Prior IP generation or algorithm research contributions.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
