Key job responsibilities

The AWS AppConfig PMT is responsible for driving rapid user growth and adoption of the AWS AppConfig service. This involves identifying and executing innovative marketing and product strategies to acquire new customers and increase usage among existing AWS users. The PMT-Growth Leader will work closely with the AppConfig product team to continuously optimize the user experience and introduce new features that address customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze customer data and user behavior to identify growth opportunities and pain points
  • Develop and test creative acquisition efforts across various channels
  • Prioritize and implement growth tactics
  • Monitor and optimize funnels to improve conversion rates at each stage
  • Collaborate with the team to enhance the AWS AppConfig user experience and drive feature adoption
  • Report on key performance metrics and make data-driven recommendations to leadership

A day in the life

Throughout the day, the AppConfig Product Manager is likely to be juggling multiple priorities, gathering customer insights, collaborating cross-functionally, and making data-driven decisions to continuously enhance the product. The role requires a balance of strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and strong stakeholder management skills.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of technical product management with internet business experience
  • 5+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience
  • 3+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience
  • Experience in taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market
  • Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
  • Experience working within teams delivering software products and features using agile methodologies
