Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist

Job Description

Set up and operate Okuma CNC Horizontal Mills using Fanuc controls to produce precision components. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions. Load programs, make offsets, and perform minor edits to ensure optimal machine performance. Edit programs directly at the machine as needed. Conduct in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools. Monitor machine operations and make real-time adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical or control issues.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

• Lathe operation
• Blueprint reading
• Calipers usage
• Fanuc control programming
• 2+ years setup experience
• 2+ years blueprint reading experience
• 2+ years in a job shop environment

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and GD&T
• Proficient in using precision measuring instruments
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $25.00/hr.
