Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented General Production Worker. This role involves performing visual quality inspections of products both before and after the completion of assigned tasks, measuring workpiece dimensions to ensure conformance, and acknowledging task completion by initialing work orders.

Responsibilities

  • Perform visual quality inspection of products prior to and upon completion of assigned work.
  • Measure workpiece dimensions to assess conformance.
  • Acknowledge task completion by initialing work orders.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with machine operating and production processes.
  • Proficiency in using measuring tools, with the ability to read a tape measure.
  • Strong reading and writing skills in English.
  • Capability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities.

  • Pro-active and self-starting attitude.
  • Ability to identify problems and develop solutions.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Middletown, Connecticut.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr.
