Job Title: Tool and Die Machinist (1st shift $36.50 hr)

Job Description

Join our team as a Tool and Die Machinist where you will play a crucial role in creating products for security systems, keys, and automotive locks. We are looking for skilled individuals for both shift schedules: 1st shift (6am-2pm) and 3rd shift (10pm-6am).

Responsibilities

  • Create and repair stamping and molding dies.
  • Perform manual machining tasks using a variety of tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tool and die operations.
  • Utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and trap gauges.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy in all machining tasks.

Essential Skills

  • 4-5+ years of Tool & Die machining experience.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading.
  • Experience in die repair and tooling.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and trap gauges effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Journeyman's card is required.
  • Previous experience in stamping or molding is beneficial.
