The position supports the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, Non-Custodial Parent and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Employment and Training Programs. These programs assist individuals enter the workforce with a goal of self-sufficiency and self-reliance as quickly and effectively as possible. The Program Specialist III performs complex (journey-level) consultative services and technical assistance work. Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
