Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant- Technical Project Manager, Data Engineering.

In this role, he/she will lead and manage data engineering projects with a focus on Databricks and Agile methodologies, driving innovation and efficiency in data processing and analytics.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Participating in the design, development, and implementation of data engineering solutions.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables with Quality to ensure the successful completion of the project.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with business objectives.
• Mentor and guide team members to foster professional growth and technical expertise.
• Ensure adherence to organizational practices for iterative development and continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data processes and systems.

Minimum Qualifications

Professional Skills

• Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate teams.
• Excellent communication abilities for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
• Proficient in project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in risk management and issue resolution
• Agile tools like Jira or Trello for project management.

Technical Skills

• Extensive experience with Databricks for data processing and analytics.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud platforms.
• Proven experience as a technical project manager.
• Strong knowledge of the Databricks platform and data engineering processes.
• Experience with Azure data factory pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud services, particularly Azure.
• Version control systems such as Git for code management
• Certification in Databricks

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred but not required.

Preferred:

• Implement best practices for data governance and security.
• Drive initiatives for data quality improvement and validation.
• Lead efforts to optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability.
• Databricks for collaborative data engineering workflows.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills

This role requires a blend of leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills to effectively manage data engineering projects. The candidate should be adept at fostering team collaboration and driving key initiatives that align with organizational goals.
