Job Description:

Mechanical Assemblers are part of the manufacturing environment and ensure products are being built to the highest quality standards using hand tools as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Use of power and hand tools to mechanically assemble tracks and or panel, which includes sectional, rolling steel, and/or fabric doors
  • Ensure products are being assembled to the highest quality by adhering to established procedures and approved processes
  • Work with the highest level of safety
  • Fulfill production orders on time to meet product delivery times
  • Use of scanners and computers to communicate production order status
  • Provide feedback for process improvement opportunities that would enhance safety, productivity, or efficiency
  • Maintain and improve area cleanliness to ensure a clean and safe work environment
  • Ability to flex into other work areas as needed
  • Must be willing to work overtime when needed.

Education: High School

Experience: 6 months

Physical:

  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to use hand tools efficiently
  • Must be able to work in a safe manner

Skills:

  • Analytical Problem Solver
  • Capable of reading a tape measure
  • General math skills
  • Quick learner
  • Able to flex in/out of different jobs on a weekly or daily basis
