As Deputy Editor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our content meets the highest editorial and compliance standards, empowering our users to make confident financial decisions. From strategy to execution, you’ll drive the creation of compelling, multi-platform content that aligns with our mission and resonates with our audience.

Some great things you’ll be doing:

• Ensuring editorial excellence: use your laser-focused editing skills to make sure your content is top-notch, FCA-compliant, and empowers users to make smart financial choices.
• Driving exceptional performance: monitor and hit KPIs including output, accuracy, traffic and conversions.
• Championing SEO: work closely with the SEO team to maximise content’s visibility and impact.
• Supporting multiplatform content: advise on content for diverse channels including email, app, social media and video.
• Contributing to our strategy: assist the Editor and Content Director in developing and delivering Compare the Market’s content strategy.

• Experience in a similar role as an expert multi-platform editor with a proven track record for high-quality content.
• Sharp eye for detail and accuracy – no corners cut!
• Personal finance pro, simplifying jargon into clear, user-friendly guidance and insights.
• Skilled in compliant, transparent financial promotions.
• Team player who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
• Strategic thinker with strong SEO expertise.
• Passionate coach, helping writers sharpen their skills.
• Numerically savvy with solid commercial acumen.
