The Manager, eCommerce Solutions will be responsible for managing solution delivery efforts, coordinating scope and cost with commercial business teams, documenting requirements, then leading design and delivery of solutions for eCommerce at Pfizer. This includes new product launches, and expansion of our eCommerce capabilities. Projects will involve system configurations and technical delivery in SAP S/4 / Commerce Cloud and / or other continuous improvement opportunities in Commercial Operations and Customer Service globally.

What You Will Achieve

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and guide moderately complex eCommerce projects, effectively managing time and resources, partnering with business team members/ leadership in the commercial organization
  • Requires functional knowledge of the systems supporting the eCommerce Prime strategy at Pfizer. These include SAP S/4 processes/ SAP Commerce Cloud (SAP ISC Customer and other functional systems and technologies that support the commercial strategy for Pfizer)
  • Demonstrate an understanding of eCommerce strategies and technologies and how they integrate with customers globally
  • Define customer facing business requirements, design eCommerce solutions within the Pfizer Digital strategy, and delivery systems to meet the requirements
  • Collaborate with commercial and trade business users to understand business requirements, provide cost estimates, and design eCommerce solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Design, configure and or develop eCommerce solutions to achieve desired functionality and perform testing as needed
  • Develop strong relationships at all levels in the organization and collaborate with stakeholders with different cultural backgrounds and in different geographical regions
  • Communicate effectively with technical teams to deliver solutions and manage the business users’ expectations to ensure clear communication of the issues to seek input on a timely manner
  • Ensure project management deliverables comply with regulatory standards and maintain strong partnerships with Pfizer teams through effective engagement models

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; OR Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Hands-on experience with SAP configuration in SAP modules and/or SAP Commerce Cloud
  • Experience designing and implementing commercial solutions across customers, including exposing services for integration with customer systems on disparate platforms, in a secure and efficient manner
  • Project experience using MS Project, Jira to efficiently balance requirements, effort, timeline, and budget for solutioning efforts
  • Good organization skills, with the range to manage 2-4 parallel deliverables concurrently
  • Robust and well-honed communication skills, including the ability to prepare and present content appropriate for senior leadership. Comfortable preparing concise and accurate summarization of complex efforts/status/concepts using creative and engaging content
  • Understanding of financial concepts, success factors and Objectives and Key Results metrics for business performance
  • Knowledge of management reporting requirements and functional design
  • Excellent communication skills

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)

  • Previous experience of at least 1+ full life cycle projects implementing eCommerce solutions integrated with SAP SD, or SAP Commerce Cloud solutions
  • Functional knowledge of SAP Sales and Distribution modules and or Finance, configuration for Sales Order Management, Delivery Scheduling, Warehouse Management and Goods Issue functions, invoice and credit management
  • Integration experience with other DevOps focused technologies, such as Java, OpenAPI technologies (REST, ODI, SOAP)
  • Relevant pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Management consulting experience
  • Experience with Agile Software Delivery
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, preferably Commercial, supply chain, Finance or marketing
  • Experience with SOX compliance / practices is desirable
