We are looking for a Software Engineer who will ensure successful deployment of our Augmented Reality solutions. We are looking for a passionate technologist with an entrepreneurial spirit and a clear goal focus.
- Ownership of software development of customer specific projects on TeamViewer Frontline platform. You will work closely with our Customer Success Managers to ensure smooth project roll outs on the customer side.
- Develop backend integrations using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs, interfacing with enterprise systems such as SAP and databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Develop client workflows and make customer-specific adjustments via XML and JavaScript
- Configure user interfaces and take care of on-premises installation of our software
- Work with the latest smart glasses and other wearable devices and bring them to use with our customers.
- Undertake technical consulting for our customers.
- Support user acceptance and system integration tests
- Execute roll-out at customer site.
- Take on bug-fixing during hyper care phase and handover to support team
- Work independently on projects and be responsible for complying with time and quality specifications
- Participate in architecture and code reviews, identifying performance bottlenecks and contributing to long-term solutions.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Software Development or a related field.
- University Degree (or equivalent work experience) required, preferably in computer science or related area.
- Strong experience in Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot for production-grade software development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and frameworks like Angular.
- Solid understanding of PostgreSQL or similar relational databases, with experience in query tuning and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with JDBC, HikariCP, and Spring-based data integration.
- Experience with API design, XML/JSON, and enterprise system integration.
- Android development experience (optional)
- Experience working in close customer collaboration paired with excellent communication skills at all levels.
- Ideally you have experience with logistics processes or manufacturing companies or automotive industry.
- Proven ability to understand the big picture and quickly comprehend complex relationships in dynamic organizations.
- Enthusiasm for acting as team player especially when it comes to cross functional teams paired with passion to work independently, assuming holistic responsibility for a project
- Structured and meticulous working style, willing to learn new things.
- Business-level English is required.
- Business Process Automation as a skill.
- Travel Requirement – Up to 10% (International & Domestic).
- Preferred experience with distributed systems, caching strategies (e.g., Redis), or CI/CD for database environments.
- Preferred background in logistics, manufacturing, or automotive industries.
