What you’ll achieve

A ServiceNow Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform to meet business requirements. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translating them into technical solutions.

You will:

  • Develop and Customize Applications: Create and customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate the rollout of new applications and modules.
  • Configuration Management: Manage and configure the ServiceNow platform, including workflows, forms, fields, notifications, and access controls.
  • Integration: Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and third-party applications using APIs.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for ServiceNow applications, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance enhancements.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals and system documentation.

Essential Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform and its capabilities.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, and web services. Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle).
  • Certifications: ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist) are a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Desirable Requirements

  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and IT Service Management (ITSM), along with familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request, and Service catalogue.
