Roles & Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Python/AWS Developer to support a high-impact integration program following a recent company acquisition. This role will focus on building and optimizing integration services, automating data pipelines, and ensuring secure and scalable cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development experience, cloud-native architecture knowledge, and a passion for solving complex integration challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs using Python.
  • Build and maintain data integration pipelines between legacy and acquired systems.
  • Implement ETL/ELT processes to support data migration and synchronization.
  • Develop and deploy cloud-native applications using AWS services (e.g., Lambda, S3, API Gateway, Step Functions, Glue).
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Ensure security, scalability, and performance of cloud-based solutions.
  • Work closely with architects, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver integration components.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across environments.
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Follow coding standards, CI/CD practices, and DevOps principles.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of development and deployment processes.

Qualifications:

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-native development.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and serverless architectures.
  • Familiarity with data formats (JSON, XML) and integration patterns.
  • Proficient in Git, CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and containerization (Docker).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with data transformation tools (e.g., AWS Glue, Pandas).
  • Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • AWS certifications (e.g., Developer Associate, Solutions Architect) are a plus.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between ($66,896 - $132,500) depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
