Position description
For the 2025-2026 academic year, the School of Education may have a need for temporary, part time supervisors in its teacher credential program. The supervisors are responsible for observing and providing feedback to candidates in fieldwork at middle and/or high school classrooms, attending professional development, and faculty meetings.
Must have their own transportation and be available to visit schools throughout Orange County to observe candidates during school day hours. The supervisor position typically requires a 3 consecutive quarter commitment.
Service Period Dates for 2025-2026 Academic Year:
Fall Quarter: 9/22/25-12/12/25
Winter Quarter: 1/2/26 - 3/20/26
Spring Quarter: 3/25/26 – 6/12/26
Minimum Qualifications:
California teaching credential. Relevant experience may be considered.
Minimum of 3-years of K-12 instruction
Desired Qualifications:
A master’s degree in education or relevant content area. Experience mentoring or teaching pre-service teachers.

Annual full-time salaries will begin at a base rate of $70,977 a typical supervisor workload is 4%-33%.
