Job Title: Programmer

Job Description

This role primarily involves working on CAD/CAM software and designing tooling used to assemble parts, ensuring a seamless handoff to production. The position encompasses setting up machines, running mills and lathes, and engaging in fabrication and functional testing.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate machine tools such as manual and CNC mills and lathes or grinders to machine parts to specifications without supervision.
  • Verify conformance of parts to specifications using measuring instruments.
  • Analyze written specifications, drawings, rough sketches, shop drawings, and verbal instructions to plan layout and determine the sequence of operations for machining processes.
  • Engage in 3D modeling and CAM experience.
  • Build fixtures and tooling for prototype parts and equipment.
  • Select metal stock and lay out designs according to dimensions computed from scale drawings.
  • Understand and interpret multi-view drawings.
  • Report immediately all suspicious and hazardous conditions to a supervisor.
  • Observe and adhere to all safety guidelines, ensuring quality and safety by complying with all appropriate policies and procedures.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in programming and tool and die making.
  • Experience with Mastercam, lathe, and mill operations.
  • Solidworks and CNC programming skills.
  • CMM programming and CAM experience.
  • Prototype fabrication and machine setup.
  • Tooling design expertise.

Work Environment

Located in Carson City, the work environment features a campus with various buildings and an airport, emphasizing a family-oriented atmosphere. The position entails a standard 40-hour work week with flexibility, allowing you to create a schedule that fits your needs, typically from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00/yr.

Health/Life/Disability: Medical/Vision, Employee Dental, Basic Employee and Dependent Life/AD&, Short-Term disability are 100% company paid for employees. The current cost for medical/vision insurance for spouse is $447.80 per month; child/children only is $351.55 per month; family coverage is $631.95 per month and is subject to change annually. 401(k): Click Bond's 401(k) Plan has a guaranteed dollar-for-dollar company match on employee contributions to the 401(k) plan up to 4% of eligible wages and fifty cents per dollar match on employee contributions above 4% and up to 6% of wages. You will become 100% vested in the company match upon completion of two consecutive years of 1,000 work hours. Effective 30-days from your start date.

Vacation: Two weeks paid vacation per annum: accrual begins immediately, and you can use the vacation time as it accrues. Accrual starts as of your first day of employment.

Sick: Five paid sick days per annum: accrual begins immediately, and you can use the sick time as it accrues. Accrual starts as of your first day of employment.

Holidays: Eleven paid holidays per year.

Tuition Assistance: Click Bond will provide tuition assistance for continuing education for pre-approved courses at local public colleges and universities with a B or better. No contracts (no financial commitment to Click Bond after graduation). Click Bond pays for classes/ books, materials, and labs upfront!

Fitness reimbursement: Click Bond, Inc. will reimburse up to a maximum of 60$
