Latitude’s IT Asset Management (ITAM) team manages the lifecycle of complex, high-value software and services critical to business operations. As part of the Service Enablement function within Enterprise Services, ITAM oversees procurement, deployment, tracking, and end-of-life processes to ensure a compliant, efficient IT environment.

Success depends on strong partnerships across the business—including Software Suppliers, Managed Services, Application Support, Cyber Security, Procurement, Finance, Legal, Management, and customer-facing teams.

Let’s look at some key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement processes that automate discovery of software and matching of licenses via ServiceNow SAM module and integrate with CMDB.
  • Perform internal software audits periodically to ensure adherence to supplier license usage terms.
  • Maintain governance for all software license management processes.
  • Manage all aspects of any external/3rd party software license compliance audits.
  • Advise on best practice to ensure software compliance is maintained across a diverse range of products and license models.
  • Work with all levels of Latitude management to plan, engage, and drive outcomes to optimise our license compliance posture
  • Provide software license management expertise to ensure baselines procured are optimised with a view to reduce overall license expenditure and promote savings from budget.
  • Operate as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and trusted advisor to various functions of the business in the domain of software licensing and optimisation.
  • Develop software acquisition processes including providing leadership in the management, review and negotiation with key software suppliers and managed service providers.
  • Research, evaluate, recommend and implement methods, policies, processes, best practices, techniques, technologies and tools that facilitates robust software license management
  • Collaborate, coordinate and execute on a high volume of Technology software and services contracts in line with various stakeholder due diligence reviews.
  • Develop and integrate processes that foster strong Annuity Management across a broad range of Technology software and services contracts.
  • Renewal Management, ensuring maintenance and support on software licenses does not lapse.
  • Financials – Perform monthly receipting\invoicing activities and track spend to budget across numerous Technology software and services.
  • Budgeting – Facilitate yearly forecasting, track ongoing Technology software and services expenditure to budget and report variances.

Ideally, we're looking for the following:

Let’s look at you:

  • Software and/or Hardware Asset Management experience.
  • Understand the principles of software license management and ability to navigate through complex supplier software license models and contractual terms.
  • Working knowledge of Software Licensing & Support models for vendors like Microsoft, Oracle and IBM.
  • Broad knowledge and aptitude for technology concepts (in particular Hardware & Software)
  • Experience working in complex outsourced datacenter and cloud environments
  • Experience working with ITSM tools and CMDB (ServiceNow).
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, financial analysis and reporting skills.
  • Working knowledge of various software providers license requirements (Desirable)
  • Experience in developing and implementing policies and process improvements, ideally with respect to Asset and Software Management. (Desirable)
