Suvi Global Services is recruiting a highly qualified Network Architect- Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) to design, implement, and manage enterprise network solutions across secure classified and unclassified environments. This individual will play a key role in modernizing and optimizing network infrastructure to support a globally distributed organization. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in network engineering and security, with a current Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification and strong experience in both cloud and on-premises environments. The Network Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, secure data transport, and optimal performance of the government’s critical systems. Responsibilities
- Design and maintain secure, high-performance network architectures that span on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments supporting NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICS.
- Lead network infrastructure planning, including LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless, and voice over IP (VoIP) architectures.
- Configure and optimize advanced routing, switching, and firewall solutions in compliance with government security and operational requirements.
- Develop and maintain network documentation including logical and physical topology diagrams, configuration standards, and change control records.
- Provide subject matter expertise on network segmentation, Zero Trust, and encryption technologies to support mission-critical data protection.
- Evaluate and recommend new networking technologies to enhance performance, scalability, and security.
- Oversee network traffic analysis, monitoring, and troubleshooting, using tools to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex network incidents and Tier 3 support, providing rapid response and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement and maintain secure access controls, STIG compliance, and vulnerability mitigation across the network.
- Participate in the design and deployment of disaster recovery and continuity of operations (COOP) solutions related to network infrastructure.
- Support integration of cloud networking technologies such as Azure ExpressRoute, AWS Direct Connect, and hybrid SD-WAN architectures.
- Provide technical input to leadership and stakeholders on network architecture options, risks, costs, and operational impacts.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 9 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network architecture and engineering, including cloud networking.
- Active Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification in Routing and Switching (or equivalent track) is required.
- Proficiency in routing/switching, firewalls, DNS, VPNs, network load balancing, custom route tables, and secure remote access solutions in government environments.
