Position Overview

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. Since its set-up in 2013, Bucharest Technology Centre (BEX) has constantly proven its capacity to deliver global technology products and services, playing a dynamic role in the Bank’s technology transformation.

We have a robust, hands-on engineering culture dedicated to continuous learning, knowledge-sharing, technical skill development and networking. We are an essential part of the Bank’s technology platform and develop applications for many important business areas.

Quality Assurance (QA) is responsible for ensuring testing strategies, plans and deliverables are executed for all applications and programes of work within their domain. We are looking for enthusiast engineers to join our agile team working for one of the Deutsche Bank platforms. Our platform is one of the biggest RPA implementations in Europe with Blue Prism.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement the full set of test automation activities: create, maintain and execute automated tests.
  • Perform manual testing when required by the application or time constraints.
  • Develop, extend and improve the existing Test Automation tools and test frameworks
  • Provide input to the project plan/release plan, defect/change management processes, systems integration, testing tools and processes.
  • Identify areas of weakness to existing procedures, continually implement new procedures, and assess risk of impact from changes to projects.
  • Assist IT application team in achieving quality product by identifying defects and deficiencies early and providing feedback for continuously improving the development and testing processes.

Skills:

  • Test Automation experience (unit testing, functional testing, regression testing, etc.)
  • 1+ years of experience in testing and support with minimum 1 year in hands-on Test Automation.
  • Technology knowledge and expertise in:
    • RPA tools like Blue Prism, UiPath, Automation Anywhere
    • HTTP- and REST-interfaces
    • JSON
    • SOAP UI
  • Strong experience in software development processes, models, lifecycles and methodologies, with particular emphasis on Agile/SCRUM methodology.
  • Excellent skills in Test planning, designing, and test strategy/case/script creation and execution.
  • Experience with integration & regressions testing and coordination with supporting systems.
  • Knowledge of white/black box level testing, system and performance testing of applications using industry standard practices and tools.
  • Experience with defect and change tracking, producing performance metrics.
  • HP ALM/ QTP - nice to have
  • Continuous Integration: TeamCity or Jenkins - nice to have
  • Oracle Databases and SQL queries - nice to have
