Position: Virtual Speech and Language Pathologist
Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose articulation, expressive/receptive language, and pragmatic disorders through virtual evaluations.
Develop individualized virtual therapy plans based on students' needs and goals.
Provide virtual speech and language therapy services to students in grades K-12.
Conduct online therapy sessions using video conferencing platforms and interactive tools.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, teachers, staff and other professionals to support students' communication skills.
Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies as necessary.
Provide guidance and resources to parents and caregivers to support students' speech and language development.
Stay updated with research and best practices in virtual speech and language therapy.
Requirements:
Valid CA state licensure as a Speech and Language Pathologist.
Proficiency in using virtual learning platforms and video conferencing tools.
Strong communication, interpersonal skills and organizational skills for virtual interactions.
Ability to provide engaging and effective therapy sessions in a virtual environment.
Familiarity with assessment tools and therapeutic techniques applicable to online therapy.
Starting range of pay depending on experience: $75,000-$95,000
