Job Description / Essential Elements: Print

Position: Virtual Speech and Language Pathologist for the 24/25 or 25/26 School Year.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose articulation, expressive/receptive language, and pragmatic disorders through virtual evaluations.
• Develop individualized virtual therapy plans based on students' needs and goals.
• Provide virtual speech and language therapy services to students in grades K-12.
• Conduct online therapy sessions using video conferencing platforms and interactive tools.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, teachers, staff and other professionals to support students' communication skills.
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies as necessary.
• Provide guidance and resources to parents and caregivers to support students' speech and language development.
• Stay updated with research and best practices in virtual speech and language therapy.

Requirements:

• Valid CA state licensure as a Speech and Language Pathologist.
• Proficiency in using virtual learning platforms and video conferencing tools.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and organizational skills for virtual interactions.
• Ability to provide engaging and effective therapy sessions in a virtual environment.
• Familiarity with assessment tools and therapeutic techniques applicable to online therapy.

Starting range of pay depending on experience: $75,000-$95,000
