As a Senior Software Engineer, you will actively contribute across the entire software development lifecycle, from early idea discussions and planning to development, deployment, and ongoing optimization. You’ll collaborate with product and technical stakeholders to evaluate solutions, share technical insights, and help guide decisions. You’ll play a key role in continuously improving the codebase, mentoring fellow developers, and ensuring best practices are followed across the team.

How you create impact

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and maintainable software solutions, adhering to clean code principles and development standards.
• Ensure software quality through comprehensive automated testing (unit, integration, UI, performance) and targeted manual testing.
• Design, optimize, and maintain efficient database models and queries, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Continuously refactor and enhance the codebase for simplicity, performance, and maintainability.
• Work closely with developers, Product Owners, UX/UI designers, analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers by providing guidance, feedback, and support through code reviews and pair programming.
• Monitor and support deployed solutions, including handling 3rd level support responsibilities and participating in release coordination.
• Contribute to planning discussions, evaluate technical changes, and take on special responsibilities such as technical enablement or tasks assigned by the Manager.

What we would like you to bring

• 4+ years of hands-on software development experience, ideally in enterprise or cloud environments.
• Strong backend skills in Java (preferably Java 21), Spring Boot, and Spring Data.
• Frontend experience with modern frameworks, especially Vue.js and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and expertise in SQL query optimization.
• Proficient in writing clean, maintainable code, with a commitment to continuous improvement and high code quality.
• Familiarity with AWS and cloud-based development is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking, ownership, and accountability for both product quality and technical decisions.
• Effective communicator and mentor, with excellent English skills (spoken and written).
