We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our AI Platform team. In this role, you will manage and optimize AWS-based solutions, scale ML workloads, and work closely with data scientists and platform engineers. You’ll be responsible for building CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure with Terraform, and ensuring efficient deployment of Docker containers.

You will also optimize AWS Batch, SLURM, EKS, and GPU-based workflows, while implementing monitoring solutions for AI tools usage and business metrics.

You will be a key contributor to the infrastructure that powers research, model training, and deployment, working alongside the team to ensure high availability and performance.

Responsibilities & Required Skills:

  • AWS management, including AWS Batch, SLURM, EKS, and GPU-optimized workloads.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab.
  • Utilize Terraform to manage infrastructure as code.
  • Set up and manage Docker containers and orchestrate their deployment in cloud environments.
  • Manage JupyterHub for seamless collaboration and resource sharing among data scientists.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to support research, training, and deployment of ML models.
  • Monitor and optimize data pipelines, ensuring efficient data flow and model training.
  • Implement automated monitoring and alerting for AI tools usage, business metrics, and pricing.
  • Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of cloud infrastructure.
  • Proactively improve performance, reduce costs, and ensure smooth deployment cycles.
  • Strong experience with DevOps principles, including automation, monitoring, and cloud infrastructure management.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams, ensuring efficient and scalable solutions.

Bonus Points for Experience in:

  • Knowledge of machine learning infrastructure and managing large-scale training environments.
  • Experience with serverless architectures, Lambda, or similar technologies.
  • Familiarity with additional DevOps tooling (e.g., GitLab CI, CircleCI).
  • Expertise in GPU utilization and optimizing hardware resources.

Nice to Have:

  • Ability to contribute to engineering tasks and the development of machine learning systems.
